BACKWhenever you click onto the day that you desire to start on, you will be provided with 2 or 3 different passages of Scripture. Underneath each passage of Scripture you will find an
overview of that book of the Bible, and that will give you information about that particular book, such as who the author is, when it was written, who it was written to, etc. Then you will also find
cross references, and this will give you other Bible passages that are directly related to the one you are studying. Then you will also see
commentaries, and those are resources that will give you the interpretation of the Bible passage that you are studying. There are usually a variety of commentaries to choose from, don't think that you need to read them all, because that could be exhausting. I recommend just picking one, unless you are not satisfied with the one you just read and desire to have a second explanation. The Navarre Bible and the Ignatius Study Bible are good for beginners and advanced students of the Bible, while the Early Church Fathers are more for the moderate to advanced students of the Bible. All the commentaries that are provided are bookmarked to the page that concerns the Bible passage that you are on that day, there is no searching necessary on your part, I've done that for you. You will also see
interlinears, these are resources that will allow you to view the Bible passages in their ancient Biblical languages with the English definitions of each word. You can click onto each word for advanced word studies!
Plus, at the bottom of each page of the Bible Study you can start threads or reply to existing ones. This will allow people to get involved in an interactive online Bible study together!
