Acts 1:8 NASB I always wonder if I'm doing what God made me to do..I read the verse above this morning, and Jesus said we are to make disciples as we go about spreading His word.The Holy Spirit was sent to help us, we can do nothing without Him. I think about this passage also Matthew 28 16.Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. 17.When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted. 18.Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19.Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in[a] the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20.and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." (NIV) In Acts its saying we are His witnessess, and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth." What are we doing to be His witnessess? I ask myself this alot..what is not being a good witness, being a gossip isn't Proverbs 16:28
A perverse man stirs up dissension, and a gossip separates close friends.
1 Corinthians 5:11
But now I am writing you that you must not associate with anyone who calls himself a brother but is sexually immoral or greedy, an idolater or a slanderer, a drunkard or a swindler. With such a man do not even eat.
Committing adultery isn't a good witness Matthew 5:27-28 (NIV) 27"You have heard that it was said, 'Do not commit adultery.'[b] 28But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart. And there is so many more if we search, the Bible will tell us how to go and be a good witness for Christ. All we have to do is live it..also think about this, they will know we are Christians by our Love..not by slander, not by gossip not by adultery and many more..only by our love..also we should never assume someone is scamming, prayer should be our first option to find out if the brother or sister in Christ is truthful, because we could be pushing away Christ Himself..
