The New Jerusalem
The New Jerusalem is the Church. It will receive its perfection only in the glory of heaven, at the time of Christ's glorious return. Until that day, the Church progresses on her pilgrimage amidst this world's persecutions and God's consolations.(CCC 679)' But at the glorious coming of Christ, God will wipe every tear from Her eyes, and there will be no more death, nor mourning nor crying nor pain ever again!
